How Jhansi Taxi uses your information

Who we are
Jhansi Taxi decides what happens to your information on this site. In law that makes us the data controller.
This site runs on PingTab, a booking system we use, run by Regnes Technologies Private Limited. PingTab handles your information for us and only as we instruct. That makes PingTab our data processor.

What we collect when you book
- Your name, mobile number and email
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times
- Flight number, number of guests and bags, and any notes you add
- Which ad or link brought you to the site, if any
We use this to quote your trip, carry it out and contact you about it. That is the legal basis: we need it to provide the trip you asked for. Your driver gets the trip details they need to pick you up.
Address search and maps
When you type an address, our server sends what you typed to Google to suggest matching places. Google does not see your device for this.
Your trip tracking link shows a Google map with your driver's location. Opening it loads Google Maps in your browser, so Google sees your IP address. This is part of the service you booked.
Ads and measurement
We use these tools to see which of our ads bring bookings.
- Google Analytics, run by Google, to count visits and see which booking steps people reach.
Google and Meta decide for themselves what they do with this data, as separate controllers. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and booking still works.

Who else handles your information
PingTab uses these providers to run this site: Amazon Web Services (storage, in India), Cloudflare (serving the site), and the email, text message and WhatsApp services that send your booking updates. Your information is stored in India.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking for as long as we need it for your trip and for our licensing, tax and accounting records. If you ask, we delete anything we are not required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Contact us at +91 80190 59540.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
